The Gasbox full frames are the highest quality and best engineered available. This frame allows direct bolt-in fitment for 1936-1999 Harley Big Twin engines. This full rigid frame is designed to be able to fit the largest Big Twin engines available. Constructed from 1 inch and 1.5 inch tubing, completely TIG welded and made in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
The axle plates are set up to fit 1979-1999 Harley Davidson Sportster or Big Twin disc brake rear wheels with 3/4" rear axle. This frame comes with a pre-installed Oil Tank
with an integrated battery box included. The mounting brackets are welded in place and rubber mounting hardware is included. The steering neck is set at 32° and is 3" higher than the stock location.
These frames include a lower fender support combined with a pre-welded on upper fender bracket to allow for a weld free fender mounting experience. These frames are designed for use with disc brake rear wheels, and require the use of a custom rear brake caliper and caliper bracket.
The gas tank mounts on this frame are designed for direct bolt on for a variety of Frisco style gas tanks, no welding required! The following custom gas tanks are a direct bolt on for this frame:
Once you receive the frame you will follow the included instructions and contact the Gasbox and the MSO (Manufacturer's Statement of Origin) will be mailed directly to you. This will have the frame's individual serial number (stamped into the the neck of the frame) as well as the purchaser's information. This is needed in most places when titling a custom motorcycle.
NOTE: When installing any vintage engine in the frame you must check to see if it needs to be shimmed. Start by tightening the rear bolts first and check the front for a gap between the frame and mounting boss on the engine. If there is, you can use small block Chevy starter motor shims. They come in variable thicknesses and can be trimmed to length. Failure to properly shim can cause the front ears on your engine case to break.
Note: There are no returns on carburetors, electrical items, full frames, hardtails or made-to-order items (such as magnetos) unless there is a manufacturer’s defect.
